Selecting the responsible employees
Updated over a week ago

Not every employee in your company wants to be notified about every task — and that’s exactly what responsible employees are for.

When you assign responsible employees to a task, only those selected will:

  • Receive notifications about candidate invitations and activity

  • Stay in the loop for changes and updates related to that task

All employees can still access the task, leave code reviews, and evaluate assessments — but only the responsible ones will get notified.

This helps your team stay focused and avoids unnecessary noise. For example, your frontend developers won’t be notified about DevOps tasks unless they’ve been marked as responsible.

How to assign or update responsible employees

You can select responsible employees when creating a task. But you can also update them anytime later:

  1. Open the task detail page

  2. Go to the Responsible Employees tab

  3. Select or deselect employees as needed

  4. Click Save

That’s it — only the right people will stay notified for that task.
