Cancel your subscription

Updated over a year ago

There are two ways to stop paying for Codebie:

Option 1: Switch to the Free Plan

There is no direct "cancel" button. Instead, you can switch to the Free plan if you want to stop paying while keeping access to your data.

Before downgrading, make sure your usage fits within the Free plan limits:

  • Up to 5 employees — Deactivate excess employees first
  • 1 active task — Archive additional active tasks
  • Maximum 25 submissions per assessment — Archive assessments exceeding this limit

Once your usage aligns with these restrictions, you can downgrade through your billing portal. Your paid subscription will end at the current billing cycle's conclusion — no further action required.

Option 2: Delete Your Company

If you want to leave Codebie entirely, you can delete your company account. This will permanently remove your company data and end any active subscriptions.

Warning: Deleting your company is a permanent action and cannot be undone.

Free Trial Users

If you're on a free trial and decide not to upgrade, no action is needed. Your trial will simply expire and you won't be charged.
