Cancel your subscription

Updated over a month ago

If you’re thinking about ending your subscription, there are a couple of ways to do it depending on your needs.

🔄 Switching to the Free plan

There’s no direct “cancel subscription” button — but you can always switch to the Free plan if you want to stop paying for your current subscription.

Before switching, make sure your usage fits within the Free plan limits:

Up to 5 employees

If you’re over the limit, you’ll need to deactivate some employees first.

1 active task

If you have more active tasks, archive the ones you no longer need.

Maximum 25 submissions per assessment

If you have assessments with more than 25 submissions, you’ll need to archive those tasks before switching.

Once your usage is within these limits, you’ll be able to downgrade to the Free plan through the billing portal.

Your paid subscription will automatically end at the end of your current billing cycle — no extra steps required!

🧹 Deleting your company

If you no longer wish to use Codebie at all, and want to make sure you’re not charged in the future, you can delete your company account entirely. This will permanently remove your company data and end any active subscriptions. To learn how to delete your company, you can read this guide.

⚠️ Note: Deleting your company is a permanent action and cannot be undone.

💡 Tip: If you’re on a free trial, you don’t need to worry about cancellation — your trial will simply expire if you choose not to upgrade.
