Private code reviews

Updated over a year ago

Private code reviews are comments that remain internal-only — they are never visible to candidates, even after the assessment is closed.

You can mix private and public comments in the same review. When writing a comment, simply select "Private" from the visibility options.

When to Use Private Comments

  • Highlight topics for internal team discussion
  • Seek peer opinions on a candidate's approach
  • Flag concerns that shouldn't unfairly influence the candidate
  • Coordinate reviewer strategy

Private comments create a safe space to evaluate candidates honestly and collaboratively, without worrying about tone or interpretation.
