Assessment notes
Updated over a week ago

Assessment Notes is a private space for your team to discuss a candidate’s submission — internally and securely.

These notes are never shared with the candidate, and are only visible to employees in your organization.

You can access the notes from the Notes tab inside the task detail page.

How to add a note:

  • Scroll to the bottom of the Notes tab and use the input field to write your comment

  • Notes are saved with your name and timestamp

  • You can use @mentions to tag your teammates and bring them into the discussion

Notes from code review submissions

When reviewers submit a code review, they are asked to fill out a General Thoughts field in the modal. What they write there is automatically saved as a new assessment note.

This helps centralize feedback and creates a shared internal view of the candidate’s performance — beyond just line-by-line code comments.

Use assessment notes to:

• Share overall impressions

• Raise red flags

• Highlight strengths

• Coordinate next steps with your team

It’s your private discussion board — right inside the assessment flow.
